Our story

A legacy of trust, built since 1998.

One promise, kept for more than 28 years: plan carefully, build honestly, and hand over on the date we write down.

Background

Our story, since 1998.

Al-Hajj Ln. Shahin MalumFounder & Chairman

In 1998, Al-Hajj Ln. Shahin Malum started Malum Group in Dhaka with one idea: build homes people can trust. He began with real estate and a simple promise: plan carefully, build honestly, and hand over on the date we write down.

Trade came early. Malum Trade International Ltd. was set up the same year for import, export and supply, and Purbachal Trade International Ltd. followed in 1999. As the housing work grew, Malum Housing Ltd. took on family apartments in 2006, B.A.B Brick Field Ltd. opened in 2009 to supply the construction market, and from 2010 Malum Properties & Developers Ltd. worked with landowners on homes and commercial space.

Purbachal became the place where the group put down its deepest roots. Purbachal Malum City started in 2013 to plan community living there. The Eylisia Park & Resort followed in 2020 and, in 2022, Purbachal MediLife Specialized Hospital followed, so families moving to the new town would find more than a home.

The group also grew into household goods, with Malum Food Products Ltd. in 2015 and Malum Green Cosmetics & Chemical Ltd. in 2026. Today Malum Group is a family of ten companies, still run on the values of 1998.

Our mission

Plan carefully, build honestly, and hand over every home on the date we write down.

Our vision

Homes and businesses that help Purbachal, and Dhaka, grow well.

Chairman's message

When a family gives us their savings, they are trusting us with their future. That trust is what we build on.

I started Malum Group in 1998 with a simple belief: a home should be built the way you would build it for your own family. Plan carefully, build honestly, and hand over on the date you promised.

Since then we have grown into ten companies, in real estate, healthcare, hospitality, trade and household goods. Every one of them answers to that same promise, because growth means nothing if people cannot trust what we build.

Much of our future is in Purbachal. We are building homes, a hospital and green spaces there, because a new town needs more than buildings to become a community.

To every family who has chosen Malum, thank you. To those still deciding, I invite you to visit our sites, meet our team and see the work for yourself.
